Cousin Colin

Yesterday we made our first day trip to Anchorage. We arrived at 9:30 and were back at the airport at 4:00. We were on the go the entire day, but we had just a little bit of time to spend with Katie & Colin. This wasn't the first time Addison & Colin have been together, but it kind of seemed like it was. Colin was amazed by Addison and he gave her many gentle hugs & kisses. In a generous fashion, he also offered to give her a 'raspberry' on her belly and bites of his banana. This time around, Addison had to pass, but it a VERY short while, I know those two will be raspberry-givining-banana-eating-partners-in-crime. It is going to be so much fun to watch these two grow up together.

One Month

Over the past four weeks Addison has taught me the value of one month. During this short time, Addison has brought so much to our lives. It feels like she has always been with us and I can't imagine what life would be like without her.

We did buy the chair for Addison, and evidently she is not the only one who can use it . . .

It comes at no surprise to me that Sean is an amazing dad. He's SO IN LOVE with Addison and I believe that she loves him just as much. Sean is the kind of dad that all new Moms hope for. He is the first to change her, walk or rock her to sleep (so I can get some extra sleep before the night time feedings begin), takes care of the house, runs all of our errands, attends her doctors appointments and of course, he has already atarted teaching Addison about golf and Tiger Woods. He's such a great father, I couldn't wish or ask for more.

Bathing Beauty

Addison is doing very well! She is a little over two weeks and now weighs 8lbs 11oz. She spends the majority of her time eating or sleeping. Addison loves to cuddle and wants to constantly be held. She's not too fond of taking a bath - but she looks adorable wrapped up in her towel aftferwards . . .
