It is amazing (to say the least) what can happen over 9 months!
This past month Addison has learned to stand on her own. It was unreal the first time she did it. Addy was in the middle of the family room on all fours then pushed her tush up in the air (feet planted on the floor) and stood up. I held my breath the entire time she stood there. Once she tumbled over I did a little-crazy-looking-dance across the floor on my way to scoop my little baby up. Sean was even home to witness it. We just stared at each other as if to say "Are we ready for this?"
Addison's second tooth has arrived. Unlike the first tooth, this tooth let me know that it was on the way. She spent several days where it really seemed to trouble her. One night was so bad she woke up in such pain that she was screaming while trying to shove both hands into her mouth. Poor Baby. It was terrible watching her in pain with nothing but baby tylenol and hugs to offer.
Addison went to her 9 month check-up today. She now weighs 19.5 pounds and is 27 inches long.
Three months from today, our sweet girl will be one year old! I can't imagine all of the wonderful things we'll encounter over the next 12 weeks!

On The Move
I've been notified that I haven't given an update on Addison's crawling status. OOOOPPPPSSS!
Yep, she's crawling forward!!! She began crawling forward only two days after I posted that she was stuck in reverse. She can crawl so fast!! She's now learned that there is more to life than our family room and loves to make-a-break-for-it and crawl into the kitchen and to the glass door. As fun as these new places are, the best thing to crawl to is the dogs. Maybel & Eli don't get much rest these days - but this is the only beginning!
