T-Time

Toddler Tea Time's Winter Session is over and I'm sad.

Is it bad that I looked forward to the weekly pre-preschool as much as Addison?

I loved watching Addison interact with other kids, play in a CLEAN environment where the group is structured.

Circle Time was Addison's favorite part. Everyone sat together on the floor and sang songs - she was in heaven!

My favorite part was Mrs Cynthia. She is a wealth of knowledge and is sooooo fantastic with the kids!

We can't participate in the Spring Session - but really, REALLY hope to be in the Summer Session!

Addison is Dancing With The Stars

Last year, when she was a baby, Addison seemed to like Dancing With The Stars. We never watched it much; but the few minutes that we did were quiet. The bright colors of the costumes, the music and the movement seemed to interest her.

Here we are a year later and Addison is IN LOVE with the show.

She always points out the dresses. A few weeks ago she showed me the dress on tv and said, "Dress, Dress!! Addison Dress?" Of course, I ran directly upstairs and brought down the first dress I saw in her closet. This is now her standard Dancing With The Stars uniform.

This little girl can DANCE! She gets one gimpse of the dancers on tv and it is Go Time!

She sings, she spins, she dances and she has the time of her life!

After each performance is over, she'll ask for more. Addison's bedtime has been thrown out the window and we rewind each dance over and over because we have so much fun watching her!

The crazy thing is that after watching a routine maybe three times, Addison can actually anticipate some of the moves!

Like here, she knew that the dancers on the TV were going to end in the splits, so Addison did hers right before they did.

And here, she KNEW that one dancer was going to whistle and she is even imitating that.

She never took her eyes off the tv for too long . . . I guess she didn't want to miss an opportunity to learn a new move!

Check out that dance technique!

She is having soooo much fun!

Forget cartoons. Addison would watch Dancing With The Stars over any show any day.

And let me tell you, this little gal sleeps so well on Mondays and Tuesdays - I suppose thats the magic of dancing for almost two hours!!

Now I Know My . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ABCs!!!

Well, she's just about got it down!

She spins her wheel on her table and sings right along!

She also gets her little groove on and it's just the cutest thing!

She skips a few letters here and there - but she gets most of them!! And we just couldn't be any prouder of this little one!

BTW: She can sing her alphabet without the table, but the pictures aren't quite as much fun because we don't get the same dance moves!! Hehehe!

Travel Tid-Bits

A lot of traveling was done in this one trip away from home . . .

On the way out we stopped in Anchorage for a few hours where Addison played with Phil, Colin, Grandpapadopolis & Nana.

Clearly, she had fun!

Here she is on our stop-over in Seattle (red-eye) crashed out with Sean.

Sleeping again . . This time in Minneapolis airport's incredibly LOUD baggage claim while we waited for our lost luggage and carseat :(.

Serenading the Olive Garden . . .

Sean's inquisitive look. Usually followed by his Russian accent. Be afraid, be very afraid!

Waiting for the exciting "Ding" noise the elevator makes when it arrives . . . ah, the simple pleasures in life! The elevator actually provided more comic relief than you'd think! Addison decided that she would not walk over the crack between the elevator and the main floor . . . each time her reaction was pretty hilarious! And the way she'd freeze in the elevator when it began to move, was so funny!

Lots and lots of time was spent in the car. Thank goodness she was okay with this - made the whole trip easy for Sean & I!

Sean is still having problems from his foot surgery a year ago and the drive was not so good for him . . . but he handled it well.

Snuggling with me at the hotel in Minneapolis.

The greatest travel bed (for little ones) ever! This little bed (sets up in 11 seconds) is one of the best things we've ever bought. Just love it! Even though it may not look like it in this picture, Addison loves it too!

THAT look . . .

. . . . is to let me know that I'm intruding . . .

Excuse Me. This is an A & B conversation. Please C your way out.

How do I explain to her that they're my grandparents too?
