Addison's third Birthday was on Wednesday, May 26th. Addison and I spent the beautiful day celebrating.
There was a whole lot of jumping, running and playing.
It was such a great day.
We started it out by celebrating with this sweet kiddo:
His newborn brother
along with Rachael & Mrs. Beck.
The weather was gorgeous so we played in the bouncehouse, with chalk, bubbles, bikes and . . .
we had a nice picnic in the front yard.
It was a lovely morning.
Once Sean got home we were joined by Monka, Grandpa Kirk and Uncle Kyle for cupcakes and Addison's favorite dinner: tacos.
She was so very excited about ORANGE candles. She talked about having ORANGE candles the entire day before her birthday.
Check out this expression:
She really didn't want anything to do with the actual cupcake; but she happily picked the sprinkles off and ate those.
Then we were onto gifts:
She seemed to have a strategy: Opening the gifts by size. She worked from the smallest to the largest. It surprised us all.
This was the best reaction out of all the gifts:
All for a pair of Tinkerbell shorts and a tee shirt.
She danced the entire way to Monka . . .
just to give her the best Birthday hug.
MICKEY MOUSE COSTUME!!!
Of course, these two guys wanted pictures with Mickey Mouse.
It was like our very own Disneyland!
Then we made our way outside . . .
to put the final gift to use: A Big Girl Bike!
In her Mickey Mouse costume no less!
What a fantastic and blessed three years!
